Legend - i... Home of Authentic Porridge & Wan Ton Noodles

Last Sunday (7th Aug 2011)

It was one of those days where i rarely got to rest, so i rested "kau, kau"... woke up at 10.30 a.m. Due to the fact that my mom was screaming around the house asking to join her for breakfast... My brother (Billy), cousin (Ron), & I slowly pulled our As*es out of bed to wash up...

By the time we left the house to join her, she had already finished eating... muahaha, how slow can we be...
Therefore we decided to head to a local joint in town to have porridge...

Yes, you read correctly, PORRIDGE... What so nice about porridge you might say? I assure you that this shop serves the most unique porridge, mainly Hong Kong style....

Frontal View of shop...

The delicious looking appearance of the open kitchen...

The wanton noodle pictures...hmmmmm (look at the size of the wantons)

So, this time around, we ordered 3 different types of porridge with "Yau Char Guai" a.k.a. "Yoo Tiau"

* "Yau Char Guai" - Deep fried, elongated shape dough like a pair of chopsticks stuck together, which is the main condiment for porridge in chinese culture...

There are a wide range of varieties on the menu to choose from...
The menu boasts of chicken, pork, & seafood varieties including wanton noodles menu as well...
The Pork range...
 The Noodles range...
The Seafood range...

Billy - "Drunken Chicken Porridge"

Ron - "Nam Yee Pork Ribs Porridge"
Me - "Superior Scholar Porridge"

 Hmmmmmm....

This was whats left of everything at the end of brunch... hehehe

P.s. The portion is for three small bowls per claypot... Definitely recommendable...
